Featuring his interviews with the stars from nearly 50 years of broadcasting on the South's local BBC Station. This show produced by Richard Latto is a must-listen on the 27th December at 1pm. BBC Radio Legend passed away aged 72 this year in 2020. Richard Cartridge retired in June after 46 years at the station and was one of Radio Solent's longest-serving presenters. Richard joined BBC Radio Solent, the local BBC station for Hampshire, Dorset and the Isle of Wight in 1972 and was one of its most-loved presenters.

 

Tributes poured in from everywhere to celebrate the remarkable life of Richard Cartridge who had an impact on so many people's lives. He is greatly missed, Lucy will be talking about her inspirational dad, Richard Cartridge, and his amazing career, featuring archive going back 50 years and music to remember him.
