It's our 15th Wickham Festival this year (including two years at Stokes Bay)
and to celebrate we're delighted to announce an all-star party band for
our opening night on Thursday 6th August featuring many of the stars
who've appeared at Wickham over the years.

THIS year, everyone is invited to Cancer Research UK’s Race for Life and Pretty Muddy in Portsmouth. The charity’s much-loved events are returning to the town but are no longer restricted to female participants.
This means everybody can be part of the empowering Race for Life movement – and show support for the 51,400 people diagnosed with cancer every year in the South East.
The Pretty Muddy events take place on Southsea Common on Saturday July 11 and Race for Life 5km & 10km on Sunday July 12 and are open to people of all ages and abilities.

Primary and secondary students from the Gosport and Fareham Multi-Academy Trust were keen to meet the Prime Minister, whilst taking part in London International Shipping Week. The Solent Local Enterprise Partnership (LEP) invited the students along and organised the trip to the Maritime UK Careers Hub, an all-day maritime careers event aiming to create interest and enthusiasm for maritime and maritime careers.

Most people get their Parkinson’s diagnosis when their symptoms have become obviously noticeable and one or more aspects of movement has been affected. Usually symptoms significantly improve when one starts to take medication.
What role, if any, does engaging in physical activity and/or exercises play in improving the Parkinson’s symptoms? Short answer – A lot!
